She and her husband have a great Dane named Humboldt, and all three are regular volunteers at the Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia as part of their pet therapy program. Dr. Ana Cceres has a special interest in computed tomography (CT); angiography, which is a procedure to X-ray blood and lymph vessels using a radiopaque substance; ultrasonography of the thorax, abdomen and musculoskeletal system; and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the spine, thorax, abdomen, nervous and musculoskeletal systems. She also has two Newfoundlands: Little Bear and Diesel. During her childhood, Samantha regularly visited her grandfathers farm, where she developed her love for animals. She lives in Philadelphia with her beloved tuxedo cat, Oliver. She's happy to plant roots in beautiful Colorado Springs with her husband, two kids, and labrador retriever (who also has allergies).
